Beauty favourite for the month

When asked to pick my favourite product for the month I had to really sit and think about what this meant to me. There are so many fantastic products out on the market, so how could I possibly choose just one? What is a skin care favourite....to me, it’s one of those things you unconsciously reach for every morning because you just can’t get enough of it. You rave about it to all you friends, family... hell... anyone one who will listen! That thing that you indulge in. You swear by it and it’s a non-negotiable if deciding between getting your nails done and picking up that product. 

For me, there was one product that really stood out in my skin care collection. That one product that no matter how many products I collect, it’s still there. It’s always there. Like a one true love, the real OG, always consistent, always available and always reliable. 

And that for me is rosehip oil. I have been using it for years now and the benefits are incredible on your skin. If I could bath in rose hip oil I would. It has been an absolute game changer for my particular skin type as I struggled with hormonal acne with dehydration and impaired skin barrier function. But now I wake up every single day with baby soft glowing skin and I can honestly say that rosehip oil has changed my skin! 

Rosehip oil is rich in antioxidants like A, C and E and also contains both lycopene and beta carotene and in some cases lanolic acid. This helps to hydrate, moisturise, exfoliate and brighten. Rosehip reduces inflammation, boosts collagen formation and helps reduce hyperpigmentation. The list of benefits continues….. Rosehip oil  treats an entire host of skin concerns. The difference it has made in my skin clarity, tone and texture is incredible.

So as you can see this is a clear favourite of mine.
