Getting started
Not sure what treatment to have?

Our focus is personalised care. For skin we always suggest an in-depth skin consult first; if you'd like a treatment right away, book “Unsure + Treatment” and a small assessment is made on the day. For cosmetic, all clients book a consultation first so a qualified practitioner can discuss your concerns, assess suitability and plan safely.

How do I know what treatment is right for me?

The best way is a professional consultation. We assess your skin in depth and create a personalised plan around your goals, lifestyle and skin condition. Unsure? Book our “decide on the day” option and we'll guide and treat you in the one appointment.

What happens at my first appointment?

Your first appointment is a comprehensive consultation where we assess your skin, discuss your concerns and create a personalised plan. We may also perform your first treatment on the day, depending on your booking type and suitability.

Do I need a consultation before treatment?

For most treatments, yes. A consultation ensures safety and the best possible results, and lets us tailor your plan to your needs and goals.

What treatments work for acne?

The most effective acne treatments address both internal and external causes, including inflammation, hormones and skin-barrier health. We combine skin needling, LED therapy, peels and medical-grade skincare with internal support where needed, for longer-lasting, consistent results.

Do you treat hormonal or gut-related skin concerns?

Yes, it's a key part of our approach. Many skin conditions link to hormones, gut health and lifestyle, so we work across specialties, including our in-clinic Naturopath, to support your skin from the inside out.

How long does it take to see results?

Most clients begin to notice improvements within 2–4 weeks, depending on the treatment and concern. More complex concerns like acne, pigmentation or scarring usually need a structured plan over several months.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your concern and goals. Some clients see results after one treatment, while others need a series spaced over several weeks or months for optimal results.

How much do treatments cost?

Pricing varies depending on the treatment and level of customisation. You'll be fully quoted before treatment, with personalised pricing based on your plan.

Is it right for me?
Can I have cosmetic treatments if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?

No. We do not recommend any cosmetic injectable treatments while pregnant or breastfeeding.

Can I be treated if I'm on Roaccutane?

We require all clients to be off Roaccutane for a minimum of 6 months before any skin treatments. Please note: DMK enzymes are Roaccutane-friendly and can be done while taking the medication.

What if I have a cold sore?

We're unable to treat you with an active cold sore for any skin treatments. If you're prone to cold sores, we recommend taking an antiviral before skin needling, chemical peels, Cosmelan or any injectables around the mouth.

Do I need to rebook if I'm sick?

Yes. If you're feeling unwell, please let us know so we can rebook you, to ensure the highest level of safety for our clinic, staff and clients.

Visiting & bookings
Can I bring my children?

Due to safety reasons, children are unable to accompany you into the treatment rooms. If you're unable to arrange care, we'll need to rebook your appointment to another day.

Can I request a specific injector or skin expert?

Yes. Request your preferred therapist when booking online, or let us know in clinic, and we'll ensure you're booked with your chosen Nurse or Skin Expert.

What if I need to change or cancel my appointment?

We kindly ask for 48 hours' notice or more. We send reminders by text and email beforehand. Less than 48 hours' notice will result in your $100 deposit being redeemed or a cancellation fee applied; package clients may have a session redeemed.

Where do I park?

There's an underground carpark with an elevator that opens up directly next to SSKIN.

How do I purchase gift vouchers?

Gift vouchers can be purchased in clinic as a physical hard-copy voucher, or online and emailed to yourself or the recipient.

What is the Members Club?
